You've probably heard this before, but excellent job on creating PDFs for Wikibooks. The C# one you just posted is awesome. I'll be looking forward to a print version of the Muggles' Guide to Harry Potter in the near future once we finalize a few things there. -withinfocus 20:41, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'll be sure to do the Muggles' Guide, let me know when its ready. Also let me know if you have any improvements to make or if I'm doing something horribly wrong typesetting-wise! --hagindaz 03:31, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

You are listed as either an interested participant or at one time voted for "World War II" for Wikijunior New Book of the Quarter. This message is to let you know that we are starting work on World War II because it was selected for 3rd quarter 2007. --xixtas talk 01:18, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Write yourself a Scheme in 48 Hours PDF
Impressive! Judging from the typesetting, you seem to have converted it to LaTeX. Do you have a way of automating this? If not, I'm hoping that someday, somebody gets around to writing a mediawiki parser for Pandoc -- Kowey 11:20, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- I converted a few simple tags automatically (sorry, in Java :P), but went through the document and did the rest manually. The LaTeX is here. I was learning LaTeX while working on it, so please correct any mistakes you might find. --hagindaz 13:36, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You evidently produced a PDF of my Unilingua wikibook. Any chance you could do it again, because I have made very extensive revisions over the past year. Thanks.
Tyoyafud
- Sure, I'll do it sometime this weekend. --hagindaz 04:20, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] BIG contribution to French Textbook
Hello, Greetings from the OLPC project. I have a French professor from Slovenia with an online coursebook of Year One French (as a Foreign Language) that he would like to donate to the OLPC project. Wikibooks is of course, the best place for this sort of content.
You seem to have structured a great deal of the planning of the French textbook, would you like to help me structure the wikification? I haven't ever fed a book to wikibooks before, and I'm curious as to the care and handling of such a beast. Sethwoodworth 22:00, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll be glad to help! Where's the textbook located now? --hagindaz 23:02, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

- It's in a long series of emails as .html attachments. He mentioned that it was on the web as well. [1] Unfortunately I don't speak french, so I have little idea what I'm looking at. Sethwoodworth 23:44, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] PDF Template
Dear Hagindaz,
I saw you great file for making from wikibooks a nice pdf. Do you have a more clear description on how to do it? I'm rewriting the Kicad EDA book for myself and the project. I did it in first instance in LaTeX markup, but this was no success to converting it to other files.
Thanks in advice,
Jerry Jacobs from the netherlands
[edit] javalatex: usage and spanish
Hi, I downloaded your javalatex program and I have been trying to use it. Actually I can convert single files to latex format (it is great!!!), but I just have not been able to convert a whole book. ¿could you send me the instructions please (ogduartev at gmail.com).
I can not figure out how javalatex takes the whole book ¿does it read the mysql database? if it does, I suppose I have to configure the database host, name and password. ¿does it read the web server wher the wikimedia software runs? if it does, I supposse I have to configure the http address.
¿do you need any kind of help for an spanish realese? I could help...
thanks in advance for your answer
Oscar Duarte

[edit] PDFs from Wikibooks
I'm planning on converting a few Wikibooks to PDF files. What did you use to create the Spanish and the Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience PDFs, as well as any others you have done? Theunixgeek (talk) 18:46, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] English in Use
Why do you propose changes in such a complicated way, why don't you just edit English in Use/Orthography? I mean this [2], I guess it was written by you. Tkorrovi (talk) 11:07, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
