All material that doesn't (and there's not much) fit into this structure should become grammar references.
Notes:
I've used all current material that is topic relevant into this course structure. I've deliberately proposed to move all the grammar lessons like "Grammaire de base" and "Le passe" to seperate, grammar appendices.
Deliberately left conjugation until later because all school courses I know do it like that. Tried to space out grammar and provide grammar relevant to topic.
Each lesson should contain:
1. One or two dialogues, containing some new vocabulary, only the grammar to be covered plus re-enforcement of grammar and vocabulary already learned.
2. Grammar details, with plenty of examples.
3. Cultural points on French or francophone countries relevant to topic.
4. Exercises, which must be varied and not all of the "translate into french/english" type.
5. If possible, materials in French that relate to topic
Why change? Well, because the current set-up is full of well-written stuff thats been hapharzedly placed in spots without any really overarching plan. We need to teach this language with an indepth focus, in a course structure, with an equally well written (largely already existing) grammar reference.
