Sun Facts
Never look directly at the Sun
  • If you looked at the sun in a telescope, you could blind yourself.
  • The sun is 150 million km (93 million miles) away
  • Sun light takes 8 minutes to reach us.
  • Every second, the sun turns over 4 million tons of gas into energy.
  • The sun is as wide as 109 Earths.
  • If you could stand on the surface of the Sun, you would weigh as much as a car weighs on Earth.
  • The Sun is gas. You would fall in.
  • The Sun is hot (5,500°C or 9,932°F). You would burn up.
  • The Sun is mostly hydrogen and helium.

There are a couple of templates displayed on this page. Template:Notice Proofread and Template:Wikijunior_Solar_System_coolfacts. Template {{Wikijunior_Solar_System_coolfacts}} takes 3 arguments -- an image, a title, and the facts text. It is meant for use in the Wikijunior Solar System article, but it could be used anywhere. I made the box opaque so it could float right over the horizontal lines in the text.

[edit] Heading

What happens when coolfacts crosses a heading?

[edit] Heading

And another one.

And a box in a paragraph

Is this like preformatted?

preformatted text is another kind of box

The box is indented from the surrounding paragraph

And back to a regular paragraph

Wouldn't it just be easier to do it this way?

The blockquote tag already exists but you have to make it italics yourself
