How do you deal with an ineffective team leader? What should a group do when they feel the group leadership is wrong, or when they feel the leader is making a bad decision? What should you do as a team member when you see your team leader is not working in the interest of the team, or is valuing their own success over the team success? What if the team leader is not giving a clear vision to the team? Should the group ask for the leader to step down if they don’t support or have confidence in this person? Or should the group go to somebody higher up and have that person deal with the group leader? If the group does choose to confront the leader, what is the best way to do so?
