I'm the same Marshman from the Wikipedia Project and you can best reach me there where I log in several times a day.

Here at WikiBooks, I am interested in putting together a Study Guide on Botany, by which I mean an outline of botanical subjects organized as they would be found in a textbook with links to appropriate Wikipedia articles (where I am working to instill botanical credibility). In time, text would need to be added to the Study Guide to introduce and transition between subjects. Eventually, this outline could be fleshed out into a textbook. Hopefully this approach will result in a useful product (although incomplete) much sooner than attempting to write a textbook from scratch.

As I am a biologist with a background mostly in zoology, I'm thinking a similar approach could be used to get the Zoology text book going here. Any encouragement might push me to set up the text outline similar to the Botany text, with links back to Wikipedia.
