[edit] MSE discussion
In case your watchlist doesn't cover these pages - you might want to read Talk:Middle_School_Extension and WB:SLP#Middle_School_Extension. Mchua 21:08, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hello AuroraBooks, welcome to wikibooks! I just wanted to get in touch with you about this MSE project of yours, it's creating a bit of a stir. If I may begin with a question, what exactly is the goal and the scope of the MSE project?
- Wikibooks doesnt allow "subprojects", we allow books and collections of books, but everything is directly under the Wikibooks project. Two pages need to be moved: Wikibooks:MSE New Titles Request and Wikibooks:What is MSE?. Since MSE isn't a "subproject", these pages should not be in the project namespace. I recommend that you move them to Middle School Extensions/New Titles Requests and Middle School Extensions/What is MSE? respectively. If you need help with this, please let me know.
- Concerning your "New Titles Requests" page, you cannot restrict what books or pages that people create. On Wikibooks, any person may create any page or book at any time. Also, there really isn't an authority hierarchy here, so you can't require people to get your permission, or even to obey your commands.
- If you have questions or if you need help you can ask me any time. However, these are not issues on which we can really negotiate. Sorry if this ruins any of your plans. --Whiteknight (Page) (Talk) 20:41, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
