Introduction[edit | edit source]

There appears to be no official service manual Citroën Berlingo Electrique (certainly from Haynes in the UK).

This service manual is created and maintained by Berlingo Electrique users.

Servicing[edit | edit source]

  • Regular battery watering is required, which either requires a visit to a specialist Citreon dealer or purchase of a specialised piece of test equipment. (e.g. EvLite)
  • Motor brush replacement may also be required.

An occasional single jerk and loss of power when sharply accelerating from stand-still. This maybe due to the regen relay (that switches the motor into regeneration mode) has not disengaged properly when coming to a stop. When the driver accelerates, the control system probably realises the relay is still engaged and immediately shuts down the motor.

A workaround is to squeeze the accelerator smoothly rather than to accelerate sharply.

Clonking when engaging drive or driving over bumps. The motor stabilising bar bushes may be worn.

Typical Range[edit | edit source]
