I am a Wikipedia vetran, who came to Wikibooks to find practise problems for Statistics. I am trying to teach it to myself, and I have a good textbook, but I don't have the answers to the practise problems. Since the stats Wikibook doesn't have practise problems, I figure that I can write up some practise problems. If I'm fairly confident of the answer, I will give the answer and then other users can double-check. If I don't understand a topic, I'll just note that we need a question addressing that topic.

I couldn't find any precedent or discussion about practise problems, so I'll just go ahead and get started.
