Yi Zi Tang consists of the following:

  1. Chai Hu (Radix Bupleuri) 5g
  2. Sheng Ma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae.) 1g
  3. Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 6g
  4. Gan Cao (Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae) 3g
  5. Huang Qin (Radix Scutellariae) 3g
  6. Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) 1g

In TCM, Yi Zi Tang is primarily used to treat hemorrhoids and constipation caused by accumulation of dampness, heat, and toxins in the lower jiao.
