  1. Where a yellow river climbs to the white clouds,
  2. Near the one city-wall among ten-thousand-foot mountains,
  3. A Tartar under the willows is lamenting on his flute,
  4. That spring never blows to him through the Jade Pass.
  1. 黄河远上白云间,
  2. 一片孤城万仞山。
  3. 羌笛何须怨杨柳,
  4. 春风不度玉门关。
