The Universe Made Simple is a Wikibook that attempts to describe the universe to someone who knows little or nothing about it to start with. It aims to explain the basic structure of the universe, our place in it, and some of its core, basic workings.
This book aims to be as simple as possible, but not at the risk of inaccuracy or dumbing-down. Some things will be ommitted or phrased in looser terms. The book is not Wikijunior, but it also isn't a detailed or advanced book; it is for new learners wishing for a sound grasp of the most important points.
