Introduction[edit | edit source]

The Prague Spring was a short period of liberalisation in Czechoslovakia between January 5th, 1968 and August 21st, 1968. The Prague Spring came to a violent end after the Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact allies (excluding Romania) invaded the country.
