I understand this is not a legal advice forum, so please don't take my question that way. I'm just curious though - if a product says on the packaging that it's in some way compatible with, say, Xerox machines, would that likely be an infringement of the Xerox trademark? --193.128.72.68 14:35, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Often, you'll see the trademark symbol and a note that "Xerox" is the property of Xerox inc. On the other hand, that's in Canada. Maybe it's different in the US. – Mike.lifeguard | ^talk 15:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
