But it has no information. What does "anglo" mean in this context anyways? Please expand it, or at least provide a plan for doing so.  — Mike.lifeguard | talk 20:37, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
What I mean by Anglo is one with white skin--205.215.119.85 (talk) 22:13, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
OK, normally the work "black" or "African American" is used.
I'd recommend adding nothing more than a biography at this point. He hasn't even taken office yet! How is it possible to write about him from an historical perspective now?!  — Mike.lifeguard | talk 04:07, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Non-anglo does not mean the same thing as black. Asians and Native Americans fall into that category, as do South Pacific Islanders and the aborigines of Australia. Obama is most definitely the first non-white to be elected to this position. But I do agree with all Mike's other points! This will most certainly be a part of history, but it is not possible to get a historical perspective when the event is still in the news. That's the difference between current events and history. Perhaps we should fork this into Current Events and move all the bits on W there as well? --Jomegat (talk) 04:15, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
The words "black" or "African American" are no longer considered politically correct anymore. We should instead say, "Protected Person"--205.215.119.4 (talk) 13:58, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
