Talk:US Civil Law
From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
I second the suggestion that "US Civil Law" be merged with "US Civil Procedure", because "Civil Law" isn't a phrase used much in the US. We would say "common law" to describe caselaw, and "statutory law" to describe laws legislated, though of course caselaw is the brew in which statutory law is interpreted and given life in application to factual scenarios. --Demulcent 00:49 17 February 2007 (UTC)
