It looks like there's a confusion in present continous and present tenses. For an example, "I go" is almost never used in the meaning of "I am going" in Turkish. The first is translated as "giderim" and the latter as "gidiyorum". This works as it would in English. But, sometimes a literal tranlation would give a wrong meaning; "I understand" should be translated as "Anladım" (I understood).

minute details of pronounciation are too intricate and unnecessary to introduce this early.
(noone really will understand the difference if you pronounce 'deyil' or 'deghil' and noone really woud attempt to pronounce 'limon' with a back-L)

Hi everyone... this is my fist time contributing to a wikibook, though I've been a Wikimedia fan for a while now. Since I'm a novice Turkish speaker, I probably won't contribute to the content as much as I will learn from it; OK so I created this template named Template:TurkishTOC so that links can be easily included on every page to the previous, next, and all other pages. Just add the text
{{TurkishTOC}}
at the top of each page (or wherever) for a full TOC that looks like this:

I guess the table of contents will need to be updated if changes are made to page titles, or if new pages are added, etc. That can be done by editing the template page directly: Template:TurkishTOC. Of course there might be a better way to do this sort of thing, so if someone knows a better system please show us. I think this is a good project and am looking forward to learning from it :)

Is the actual Mount Olympos in Turkey? If you look at the corresponding wikipedia article, it says it's in mainland Greece.
