Hey WK, I really like this idea, I'd be willing to help you out with this one if you want (it'd be one of the few books you've started that I know anything about :)). Not sure how detailed you want to go, there's tons and tons of stuff out there on how to conduct a good experiment, but I'm not sure if that'd be part of your focus or if you just want to talk about what it is and what it isn't, and some history of famous experiments across the sciences.
