Talk:Super NES Programming

[edit] Future Work
I'm gonna keep adding a few things on here as I go along. I'll also work to draw attention to this wikibook. anyways, a few things that might be good to add:
- Completion of the SuperFX Tutorial
- Tutorials for other expansion chips like the Super Accelerator or DSP
- A full sample ROM that might just be a little 'walk anywhere' project that uses most of the tutorials together, though perhaps not the tutorials for expansion chips. I'd be more than willing to provide the code for this.
- (Please add in anything I missed here)

- I can think of a few things:
-
- Collection of code snippets?
- There's been a bunch of work on SPC tools lately. (see [1].) Maybe a tutorial for this spc engine...
- I'd kinda like to know more about this 65xx text editor you wrote.
- Needs more of an introduction. (This was sorta high on my todo list.)
- Mode 7-- including the scaling and rotating of smallish graphics(think clown-coptor).

- BTW, nobody really knows how to program the superfx anymore. There might be some info in the manual, if you can find a copy, but what you'll probably have to do is look at the source code of zsnes and snes9x. Of course, the same goes for the SA-1, DSP, Cx4, etc. --Snarius 15:44, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
