"Technically Soil Science is termed Agronomy or the study of soils..."

I think perhaps this was meant to read Agrology, not Agronomy, since agrology is defined in most (all?) dictionaries as meaning the same as soil science. Except in Canada where 5000 agrologists consider themselves not soil scientists, but agricultural production experts. see Wikipedia:Agrology. So rewording Agronomy to Agrology would be wrong for Canada. Would it be okay with folks here to reword the above as:

"Technically Soil Science is termed Agronomy or the study of soils..." ?

We probably already know this, but this should have many, many links to wikipedia, and should be broken out into chapters the way the botany wikibook is. 160.94.27.141 14:23, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
