I'm planning on replacing the basic step with a rewritten version. Since noone seems to be maintaining this I can't imagine it being worse.

Firstly I'm going to split it into single bar sections (forward basic, back basic) to make it easier to explain how they link together. I'm also going to start it on the 4, also to make it easier to explain how to link them together (no wordy explanations of when to repeat from in case of a repeated 1 beat.
