Romanian pronunciation is very phonetic

'All pronunciation is phonetic! Is this not perhaps, rather, a reference to the "phonetic" (i.e. near-phonemic) spelling of Romanian? -- 81.158.0.123 18:30, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

a lot of foreigners find it hard to speak it, especially English speakers

Is there really any evidence that English-speakers are more likely than, say, Mandarin-speakers, Hungarian-speakers, or Arabic-speakers to find Romanian hard to speak? -- 81.158.0.123 18:26, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

No, there's not. For one thing, "English-speakers" is not the same thing as "native English-speakers" and certainly not the same thing as "native English speakers who speak Romanian non-natively". Some people are even native in both languages. In addition, I don't think this is an objective claim at all, and evidence obviously has not been provided in over two years. Removed.
