This page should include explanation about mechanical tools. Mostly tools that would be available to most people. (CNC cutters and such might fit on a differend page). Anyone willing and able to explain a particular tool please do so. I'm not sure where to put software tools. Any ideas are welcome. --Patrik 12:54, 22 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I'd like an explanation of different types of solders, cores, leadfree, eutectic, and which are best for electronics boards, which are best for mechanical joints, etc. i am linking to it from the electronics book. - Omegatron 19:27, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)
