[edit] Title

Shouldn't it be that what immediately follows |title= be MONOPOLY rather than <big> ? This, because the sort key for the category list is then messed up. This is assuming you care to pay any attention to that. Besides, does it really need to be any bigger than what it is? On the other hand, why bother using the template for one (or two — of the other I can't remember the title) occasions in which you want to use <big>, even though you don't even need it? After all, it is bigger than all the other text anyways. --D. F. Schmidt 09:18, August 10, 2005 (UTC)

Hm, you're right! I've removed it now... it was mainly there because the title page was looking rather small and lonely. :)
The template adds far more than just font scaling though, it also applies the Monopoly-like font and color as well as placing the menu bar above it. This also means that any change made on a whim to the header formatting affects all pages in the wikibook instead of having to be manually changed in each. Not only that, it adds each page to the category without intervention.
You can see the template I modelled it off in use throughout the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas wikibook. GarrettTalk 11:46, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
I do understand why you have a template. (I've studied w:Cascading style sheets, which is a lot like templates here.) I was commenting that it seems silly to add <big> to a template-modified thing, where the template already adds a font-size increase. I'm sorry if that's poorly worded. It's the best I can think of right now. That's all I was saying really. -- D. F. Schmidt 03:58, August 12, 2005 (UTC)
Ah I see now. :) I did it to have the text huge in one place and smaller in the other, otherwise yes it would have been in the template. GarrettTalk 13:45, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Mega Edition

So why was "The Mega Edition" deleted? It is officially licensed and of interest to the Monopoly community. It may be the most important addition to Monopoly since the Stock Exchange.
