Talk:Microsoft Certified Professional Developer
From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
[edit] Wikibooks:Naming policy
I suggest renaming like this:
- Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) -> "Microsoft Certified Professional Developer"
- Exam 70-536 -> "Microsoft Certified Professional Developer/Exam 70-536"
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist/Exam 70-536/Value types -> "Microsoft Certified Professional Developer/Exam 70-536/Value types"
See Wikibooks:Naming policy. The problem with Exam 70-536 is that the module name does not start with the name of its book. Modules like Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist/Exam 70-536/Value types have a different problem: now the module starts with the name of a nonexistant book, "Study Guides", further it mixes colons with backslashes.
Using forward slashes like/these/will allow easier linking, for example you will be able to write [[/Value types/]] at the Exam 70-536 page to link to the Value types page, if the names are as I suggested above.
I think that the "(MCPD)" is redundant, so my suggestions removed it. --Kernigh 01:47, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
The instructions for renaming pages are at Help:Moving a page. --Kernigh 01:48, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
