Macromedia Flash is an animation program which utilizes vector graphics and bitmap graphics, sound and program code and bidirectional streaming video and audio. The book will explain some of the program's basic functions.

Could be a possible introduction bit confused on the picture though there is one on wikipedia which could be used

I would like to see a good walk-through section, detailing how to create a flash file (possibly a simple game) in such a manner that it encompasses all possible features (eg. buttons, action scripts etc) and describing what is happening as well as describing what to do. I am not a user of flash so am unfortunately unable to contribute but look forward to further developments.

[edit] Took out a Link

Took out this, New to Flash?

"Go to www.nystic.com and ask any questions you may have."

It seemed to be purely self promoting. I went to the site in look for tutorials, or at least any questions asked. I saw only one thread relating to Flash, and that does not deserve to be on Wikibooks.

[edit] Macromedia -> adobe

All references to Macromedia should be changed to adobe. Also there is a lot of scattered flash pages that should be brought together.
