Good point, Jeff. You are right to note that 에서 is only supposed to be used with inanimate referents. I suppose we could introduce 에게 or maybe just 게 in this lesson and change those exercises to have the student choose between 에서 and 에게 (or maybe 게), depending on the given noun. I don't know if foreign word spelling rules have changed since last time I learned Korean, but I think Korean writing for "Joseph" is much closer to "죠셉" or "조셉" (in Korean Bible, it's actually written "요셉" which is actually more correct (i.e. closer to Hebrew pronunciation) than the ... bastardized English pronunciation). At the very least, it should definitely be "조세프", since "e" corresponds fairly well to "ㅔ" sound. novakyu (talk) 11:03, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
