[edit] Intro

This is an attempt to create a HTML Tag reference to offer an alternative to the W3Schools one, preferable a better one of course :D. I have checked it on the W3Schools site, and you are allowed to link to any of their pages, as long as you don't embed it in an iframe or something (which we don't). I have also created the Standard Attributes List, as to provide information about those. Here's how a tag page is built up:

An example of the tag in use, preferably with as many attributes as possible

The Dutch Wikibooks is also busy on a tag list, that's what the link at the bottom points to. They haven't finished it yet, but at least when it is, the link will point there. Vincentt 13:28, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

This module has once been the book "HTML Tag List", intended to be a reference. It has been merged on 4 June 2006 with the present book, originally called "HTML Programming", now called "HyperText Markup Language", which is intended and currently structured and written as a user guide. This merger of two completely different kinds of works is going to create problems; the two kinds of materials use different organizing principles. --Dan Polansky (talk) 12:06, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
