Erysiphe necator (or Uncinula necator) causes powdery mildew in grapes. It produces common odors such as 1-octen-3-one and (Z)-1,5-octadien-3-one[1].

The fungus causing powdery mildew in onions is Leveillula taurica (known as Oidiopsis tauricaby its anamorph) - also attacking the artichoke.
