"a battery can work to get a good sound"

Is this a safe technique to use on a steel stringed instrument? I'm not versed in slide guitar, but I can imagine if precautions are not taken one could quite easily short the battery through the strings and across the bridge. 81.106.113.213 20:16, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
