[edit] Capitalization

Originally it was always written as FORTH, although in every modern reference I've always seen it written Forth (and, seeing as it isn't an acronym, that seems proper). Whichever is chosen, this book should use it consistently. On the first page alone both are used with no explaination. Cat Parade 20:51, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Originally, all programming languages were spelled in all uppercase. Capitalizing only the first letter is more popular these days, so I recommend we use "Forth". There is a discussion of FORTH vs. Forth at Wikipedia:Talk:Forth (programming language), which parallels another long controversy over FORTRAN vs. Fortran at Wikipedia:Talk:Fortran. --DavidCary 04:54, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
