Talk:Financial Derivatives
From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
I'm starting to write this book because I have a decent grasp of the math behind financial derivatives but I'd like a better one. It has been my experience that teaching or writing about a subject gives a better comprehension. I will be drawing heavily on John C. Hull and wikipedia, along with other assorted resources.
I think it is a good idea to write this book. But why did you stop writing on it. A chapter about Credit Derivatives, Collateralized Debt Obligations, Credit Default Swaps and how to price Synthetic CDO would be nice.
[edit] Financial Math
I dont agree that your article displays a very advanced grasp of the mathematics behind financial derivatives. Relying too much on the textbook by Hull risks accusations of plagiarism. --Tedblack 18:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
