Forget my comment on jokes or anectotes for this one. Very clever idea. The marimba is a very way to explain tuning problems for a variety of acoustic systems. The site organization and layout is good. A few quantitative examples of how to compute the bar resonance frequencies (see section 3.12). A few examples of how temperature changes the tube resonance frequencies would also be nice. The figures could be better integrated with the text (with text wrapped around figure and caption). --me513
