I don't know much about ecology (hence me reading this wikibook) but this first chapter does not give me much confidence in what I'm reading, since it mainly appears to be quoting a text from 1961.

Im new to this site but my class is using it as an educational tool. I am excited to see if this type of teaching will be more effective then just reading out of a textbook.--JDrynan 20:11, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
