Polishing silver: Some of this information is correct but apparently the author hasn't tried EVERY brand of silver cleaner. I have been using a liquid silver cleaner called SilverMate for many years and it has never harmed any of my silver or silver plate. It is non-hazardous and mild enough to use your bare hands in it and only takes about 20 seconds to clean AND polish all in one step. Research things before you condemn them
