I am removing the section title "Chinese Checkers Strategy by Darren A. Chilton(http://puzzle.roxr.com). Possibly "Darren A. Chilton" was one of the authors of this page, but I could identify nothing in the edit history with this name. As for http://puzzle.roxr.com, it offers a computer game called "Advanced Chinese Checkers v0.90", but the download link does not work, so I wonder whether the game actually exists. I am removing the link; if they fix their site and the game works, then someone can add the link again. --Kernigh 04:13, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

--- Reply --DarrenChilton 22:47, 27 June 2006 (UTC) I have now become a member, and I can confirm that I created the original text for this. Obveously in traditional wiki style I added my knowledge as no-one had anything on the strategy of the game. I am dissapointed that all of the editing was never positive, and surprised that there are no good players out there who want to share their knowledge. If you like you could put it as my strategy on the game in hoping that some grand master might put their strategies too.

Unfortunately the web site was continuously suffering from download problems, and indeed www.roxr.com have closed, so my web site is no more. My game does exist, it is free, but I have no website to host it yet.

Since external links are better at the bottom of the page like : author game which lead to this wiki page (link...); I would like to be able to offer my game that I developped in my spare time to those who liked my rules of good playing, so that they can see them brought to life. ---

My name is Elaine, and I have been playing chinese checkers with different folks for 30 years. There is nothing wrong with Darren Chilton's strategy guide. Of course, I have other opening strategies, but the information he presented is the best of the basic best.
