The original edition of Basic Writing was the result of a collaboration between Dr. Lanette Cadle and her Spring 2007 Theory of Basic Writing graduate class. It has been two years and Dr. Cadle's Spring 2009 Theory of Basic Writing class is now expanding this book into a second edition with additional assignments, more information on common writing errors, and a new section geared towards ESL students. --Llcadle (talk) 18:53, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
