Currently I plan to fill out the outline thus far, and as I go, I will discover where slots are needed in the outline, and where more specific information will be needed. I will try to establish appropriate cross-reference linking, and the graphics are on the way. I forgot how much bla bla is involved in cars... ;) Richimoto 06:22, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

I do not agree that it is a good idea to merge with automotive repair. It is quite different topics, where cross references may be a better idea. LarsPensjo 08:04, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I also do not agree that this should be merged. I have added some basic history on the main page which I will continue when I get a chance. Hopefully, some edits will begin again because automotive systems information and history is plentiful but scattered. F75.gx1r 10:52, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

IMO should not be merged. Auto systems will cover a lot of details that will not be relevant to auto repair. Software for example.
