Tagalog as you know is spoken in the Philippines by about 22 Million people, it is known Filipino internationally and is the official language of the Philippines. Tagalog comes under Austronesian Languages. Tagalog is derived from Taga-Ilog, Taga usually means Native of and Ilog means river. Thus is means, River Dweller. The language usrs fragments from Sanskrit, Malay and Javanese. The early archaelogical evidence of the use of Tagalog is the Laguna Copperplate Inscription.

Tagalog is spoken by Filipinos in the Philippines and Filipinos abroad. It has loan words from Malay, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, English, Farsi and other languages. People might find pronounciation difficult in Tagalog but there might be some words which are loan words from other countries, as I have indicated, it had loan words from other languages which makes it easier to study mostly for Malays and Spanish.
