Verbs in Tagalog differ. This are some important and common Verbs.


Kain - Eat

  • Present Tense

I am eating - Ako ay Kumakain / Kumakain ako

You are eating - Ikaw ay Kumakain

She is eating/He is eating - Siya ay Kumakain / Kumakain Siya

They are eating - Silay ay Kumakain / Kumakain sila

We are eating - Kami ay Kumakain / Kumakain kami

  • Past tense

I ate - Ako ay Kumain Na / Kamain na ako

You ate - Ikaw ay kumain na

She ate/He Ate - Siya ay kumain na

They ate - Sila ay kumain na

We ate - Kami ay kumain na / Kumain na kami

  • Future tense

I will eat - Ako ay kakain / Kakain ako

You will eat - Ikaw ay kakain

She will eat/ He will eat - Siya ay kakain / Kakain Siya


Tulog - Sleep

  • Present tense

Natutulog

  • Past tense

Natulog / Nakatulog

  • Future tense

Matutulog

Inom - Drink

Inom is pronounced as E-NOM
