fire science is highly disregarded as a science although there are set rates that certain flamable materials combust and burn,producing ash and choking smoke. the reason for having these rates is to alert firefighters as to how long they have to control the situation, to assess the loss of life, to formulate a control patern to fight the fire, and to use human resourceses most effectively.Most fire fighters are certified in cpr and first responder courses.
