[edit] Tutorial Authors Wanted on Official Blender MediaWiki!

The main Blender documentation and tutorial authors are now working on the Official Blender MediaWiki. If you're considering helping write Blender tutorials or documentation, please consider helping us at the official wiki instead.--Popski 17:44, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wanted!

Heh, you can't count on Blender developers. You are developer here! --Popski 14:08, 22 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Alphabetical order

I sorted list of Blender WikiBooks in alphabetical order. --Popski 19:08, 9 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Links to external material

[1] How can this extensive resource be taken advantage of? --Jkh.gr 16:56, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Namespacing

How we will now name modules? Like Blender 3D: ModuleName or Blender 3D/ModuleName? --Popski 16:14, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I think the better way to do it is "Blender 3D: ModuleName". This way the module can better be a stand-alone book. What do you think? --68.3.31.10 14:43, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Yes I agree. Who changed this anyway? --Popski 11:04, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

From history was ZeroOne: (:s to /s. this naming scheme creates automatic back links to the top of the articles.) --Popski

With this few changes ZeroOne just messed with redirections and there is no more history. C'mon!! If you start to make changes like this then do it right and please discuss first. You can use some Sandbox for such testings. This automatic back links are totally unimportant anyway, I'll put it back. -Popski 09:58, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for doing that, Popski. Hopefully I'll be able to get back onto this Blender book here in a week or so when I'm done with this terrible class I'm in, give you some help. ZeroOne was trying to help, but I don't think that this particular contribution was beneficial. Just so everybody remembers, he has in the past contributed in a positive way many times, so it's all good. Popski, we need to get the templated keyboard shortcuts book going, I'll spend time on it in about a week, the templates will be very helpful for integration with the other blender books. --Spiderworm 04:56, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I know that he didn't want to make any harm, but why people don't say anything before doing such things? You'll be back in a week? Well, that's good news! :) Blender 2.37 have some new ShortCuts (need to add). Another good news is that is Varuag interested to have his !great tutorials here! Unfortunatly is his homepage as down as is www.blenderman.org :( What do you think Spiderworm where to put such tutorials as are his car tutorials? --Popski 21:24, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Sweet! Good job Popski! We should probably put Varuag's tutorials up under the Intermediate Modeling/Mechanical Modeling section. I haven't seen Varuag's stuff myself but I'm assuming it's pretty awesome. --Spiderworm 18:03, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Merge from Creating a jewel in Blender

G'day, a Vote for Deletion has concluded that Creating a jewel in Blender should be merged into this book. Please see what you can make of it. cheers, Webaware talk 14:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
