[edit] About Classical Mechanics
Classical mechanics is the study of every day forces which we come in contact with, the motion of particles and systems of particles and of the forces which induce changes in motion. The goal of classical physics is to be able to describe perfectly any and all kinds of motion. from this it would follow that if you knew only part of the motion of an object, then you could determine each other part of the motion.
