We fall short of the world society fathering or love from the father. Many are in one single homes and we don't care cause we haven't had that care given. It's ashamed that we as believers have falling short of the love of the father when we have e father involved in our life(God the father). We are taught in the text how to be a father in this father less and selfish society. Look at the trinity (God Jesus and Spirit) taking care of his first children Adam and eve. 1. He gave them a form of clothing and a home(note:you can be there and not be a father it takes more than these thing to be a father. Now he gave the place for them to live right in the rivers and lands of Pison which was passing the land of Havi'ilah where there was gold. He gave them riches (or quality in person). Now this did have just gold it had onyx and it was good. second river was the of Gihon and it passed the land of Ethiopia. Thirdly,Hiddekel and it was passing the land of Assyria and the fourth river was Euphrates. Now those lands and rivers where one way of his ways of saying I care for you and be responsible with the things I gave you. If you notice that the father created that for us to see the wholeness of the gifts he gives and gave. The land didn't need any thing but tilling and taking cared of (Adam and eves job) Gen2:10-25 Now before he gave them a home he gave them a boy or a form of earthly close . (Note: this took the family of the God (TRINITY) to make man and made him in his image.)To me that's a dope of the father to do that it took all of him to make his children. That's shows that he cared and cares. This reminds me of the prodigal son (not for running away) but for the effort of building every one together to get him back in the family (Luke 15:11-32)specifically verses 20-27 (where' he was glad to see his son and gather everyone to' serve' him for coming back) that's a side bar and it will be used, back at the thought at hand' he' cause' world to see how beautiful his children were and are to him. 2. Was that he allow Adam & Eve' have some say so in the Garden (Eden). Even though the father has his sovereign will he allowed' Adam & Eve to have some say so, that's in verse19 0f 2nd Genesis. Alot of parents don't allow the child to have say so in the family not saying they will over ride you but give them some say so in their decision they make. (Now there is balance in this thought 1. If the child can't make the choice onthe first time give him sometime or if they ask for help with descion help them) 2. If you know that they are miseducated about the info than info them and if the still don't get than make the descion for them 3. Let them make mistakes on there own but don't prevent them from doing the will of their own or the father's (parents) They will thank you guaranteed or if not than I thank you for listening to the advice. 3. They where given authority in the house hold not Alot but enough to say they are part of the home or (Eden) . How by telling Adam & Eve to watch the animals and the trees. (Note: God gave Adam & Eve the right to make a descion's and he saw that they couldn't so he correct and used his sovereignty to rule.( Genesis 3:9-24) 4. Allowed them to make descion and corrected them when they were wrong ( taught them what not to do also). Now punishing the children depend on the wrong doing and the laws or rule that was given.( vs13-24)(note sometimes it ends up with banish from home or told to get out) Now this doesn't give you to band a child just for not apparent reason and give mercy and grace.) this gives you the topic of forgiveness(Matt.18:22 & Luke 17:4) now if that don't work I suggests that you sit down with child or children someone that understands both stories (ex: God and us =mediator Jesus Christ) He said he is the mediator between you and God (also no one can come to the father aspect by him -Jesus) (1John2:1) There 2 things that you don't want to do when you correct
- Don't label your child anything but the word (know it's hard but truth)
