Description:
This is the Cuban version of the cross-body step. It is pretty much the same, but doesn't have to move through 180 degrees like the cross-body step does. This move takes us from para el medio position into the Cuban basics, i.e., it makes the leaders face clockwise instead of anticlockwise.
