- Willett et al, 1986 - PMID 3759586 — "Renal complications secondary to radiation treatment of upper abdominal malignancies." Willett CG et al. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 1986 Sep;12(9):1601-4.
- Retrospective. Looked at 86 pts who received > 26 Gy to 50% of one kidney. Minimum 1 yr f/u. Creatinine clearance based on the Cockcroft formula.
- Mean % decrease in GFR was 10% if only 50% of a kidney irradiated and 24% if 90-100% of one kidney was irradiated.
