Xeroderma Pigmentosum



  • Defect in nucleotide excision repair (NER) pathway
  • Compromised ability to repair UV damage
  • Multiple skin malignancies at a young age; most common causes of death are melanoma and skin squamous cell carcinoma
  • Autosomal recessive
