[edit] 3...Bc5
Whites main plan is to take control of the center with a d4 push. He must choose if he does it right now : 4. d4 to get a lead in development despite the loss of the pawn or if he prepares it with moves like 4. c3 or 4. b4.
White may forget about it and play a quieter line by supporting the center with 4. d3.
