The initial production of this user guide was funded by Ako Aotearoa's Regional Hub Project Fund. The main author is Leigh Blackall, with co-authoring and editing by Bronwyn Hegarty, Educational Development Centre, Otago Polytechnic and Ruth Jelley at La Trobe University.

Please feel free to leave comments on the discussion page, or email Leigh Blackall. The final version for Ako Aotearoa was completed on December 20, 2011. Today, contributions are invited from anyone with documented experiences developing open education, so that this book can continue to maintain its usefulness as both a guide, but also a record of people's work.
