Stromata laxe dispersa, in epidermide evoluta, parva, ambitu orbicularia vel late ellipsoidea, semper unilocularia, contextu prosenchymatico, atro-brunneo; asci pauci, crasse clavati, in loculo fere horizontaler dispositi, 8-spori; sporida late ovata, recta, circa medium septata, hyalina; paraphysoides parcissime evolutae, indistincte fibrosae.
