[edit] General Summary

This chapter is titled as "The Snake Pit, The Wine Pool, And The Meat Forest". At the very beginning of this chapter, Jiang Baby Tooth would unleash his greatest potential (heavenly thunder and flames) to effectively destroy the evil specter, Jade Pipa. Once Daji saw her fellow younger sister killed and no more than as a fat-belly guitar - her true state - Daji created an excuse to the king saying that she needed it in case he wished to hear melodies at any certain time. In the time span of over five years, Daji would finally be able to bring back her friend after distilling the essence of the sun, moon, and earth. Following a certain day, Daji and King Zhou would unleash a great banquet celebration that would put great enthusiam into the varied officials (this was truly meant to be a celebration for Jade Pipa's revival however). Within this celebration however, Daji would immediately demanded investigation after noticing Queen Jiang's seventy-two remaining maidens expressing a high level of misery and distraught. Once this issue was vaguely discussed with King Zhou, Daji ordered the maidens to be contained within the Cold Palace until she thinks of a fitting method of torture. Soon enough, an edict would be unleashed that ordered for a large poisonous spider-snake pit to be createdv -- an action that would put hundreds of families further into poverty.

Once high ranking officials such as Jiao Ge, and especially that of Yellow Flying Tiger heard of the creation of the spider-snake pit, an immediate explanation would be requested. As heard, it would be concluded that each maiden would be stripped of their clothing, shaved of their hair, bound, and thrown into the pit to be devoured alive. Jiao Ge would be the first to respond to this absurd conclusion, and would simply become another official that attempted to shed logic into King Zhou. Once King Zhou ordered Jiao Ge's death as well, Jiao Ge would simply throw himself over the twenty-foot Star-Picking Belvadere, which effectively killed him. Following this point, Daji would present before King Zhou a certain drawing that depicted a mini-par around the belvadere, with the snake-spider pit within the middle. Within this mini-park, a whine pool would be set along with a forest containing roasted pig, cooked duck, and so forth; these both would be known as The Wine Pool and The Meat Forest. This was a plan, or more or less a game to eat human flesh in a different stlye altogether. Following the end of this chapter, Daji would easily convince King Zhou that a Deer Gallery should also be created (a large forty-nine foot tall tower with walls of diamond and marble). To also get Jiang Baby Tooth effectively killed, Daji made it so that Jiang himself was meant to be the head of this impossible project.
